West Central Regional Trauma Advisory Council
Patient Tracking Project- Phase II-Update
The RTAC Coordinators around the state have been meeting frequently and have spent many hours working with the state of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Hospital Prepardness staff to continue with the Patient Tracking Project, second phase.
We met in Madison the 2nd week of October to trouble shoot some techincal difficulties that have come up during our initial progress. We met with representatives from Branch Solutions from Seattle, WA and with Imagetrend from Lakeville, MN to overcome these problems. I am proud to announce that we are now progressing into the tabletop portion of this project.
It is our hope that this will be successful in eliminating a lot of the common difficulties that arrise for providers and family members in an MCI incident. I will continue to update you on our progress as we move forward with this, and continue to move our state's trauma system forward in providing the best services that we are able.

Trauma Basics Class Schedule 2.0
Summer has drawn to a close, and the Trauma Basics 2.0 is fully ready to be delivered to your departments. It is free of charge to any department that wishes to participate and provides a chance for us to improve our care for trauma patients in our service areas. I am asking the service directors and/or training coordinators again to contact me so I can come visit with the providers and present this exciting refresher on Trauma care and triage.
